PARIS trip - Part one (a)

Day1: Friday the 1st of July

Our flight was scheduled for the end of the afternoon. Both me and Vânia (my travel mate) had things to do and ended up meeting at my place. My husband took us to the airport and we were stressing over the time. We got there right on time, everything went smoothly.
Vânia had been to Paris lately and knew exactly how to take the bus to the city center and everything. The flight itself was fast and without any incidents.
When we got to Beauvais we got the bus tickets and headed over to the bus. After placing our luggage and when we were handing over the bus tickets the driver told us that I could go in but that Vânia couldn't! I asked him "are you serious?" and we quickly understood that was his way of hitting on her. haha
The bus ride was a bit long and we were really tired by then. When we arrived at Paris we headed over to the subway, caught the metro and had our first contact with drunk french citizens partying (it was friday night afterall). You can't do that in my country though so that was kind of strange to us.

We got to the area where we were staying and eventually found the hotel. It was a very small hotel but we were greeted with a smile and we were really exausted so it felt as if we were getting into a 5star hotel instead.
We slept like babies.

Day2: Saturday the 2nd of July

We woke up and put on something really basic and carefree. Our plan was to go to BABY, the stars shine bright to lift our tea party tickets and then to visit Angelic Pretty because Vânia wanted a pair of socks and I had to buy something as well. We were afraid it would sell out due to the AP tea party on the next day so we didn't want to take a chance.

We got to the btssb store right after it opened. It was already full of girls I didn't recognize (supposingly French lolitas?) when we got in. We headed straight over to Mr. Sawada for the tickets. At first he didn't know where they were and i kinda froze... haha but then he asked "where are you from?" and I said "Portugal" and he replied "OH! Portugal!" and found the names straight away. I could see the list and we were the only two people there from our country. Representing a whole community is somewhat of a big responsability.
We saw some items (got a small accessory) and left the store. Vânia had her eyes on a cardigan but didn't get it straight away.

We looked for the Angelic Pretty store next. It had the timetable on the door and said 12pm. I looked at my watch and it was 12pm... so we went over to the door. Shortly after a man came and said:
Man: "Yes, can i help you?"
Us: "We'd like to buy some things please, can we come in?"
Man: "No, you can't!"
Me: "erm... haha are you serious?"
Man *smiling*: "Of course, I'm always serious... it's not 12pm yet so you can't come in."
Me: "But... oh dang this is my country's time!"
Everyone: *LAUGHS*

haha that was embarassing but if you remember the guy in the bus the day before you can understand why we reacted this way. XD

We checked some nearby stores and found a cozy café and decided to sit for a bit.
I asked for a coca-cola (needed the sugar) and V asked for a cup of coffee. We sat there and chatted for a while and suddently the man from the Angelic Pretty store went by and smiled at us.
We lit a couple of cigarettes and then saw three cute lolitas from afar... until we realised it was actually Maki, Asuka and another girl. Of course Vania freaked out, she was crazy happy. I felt the urge to hide my cigarette but later found out that they kinda smoke too (which, I am sorry to say, made me really happy. I really dislike the smokers's hate that goes on in the lolita communities.

Basically we just realized that there was something going on at the store after seeing them, because we are silly like that.
We waited till the 12pm and headed over to the store again. When we got there it was no longer empty like before but there were a ton of lolitas waiting at the door this time! I felt incredibly under-dressed and out of place... I was wearing casual in all black with zero makeup and those people were all super well dressed and gorgeous looking haha.

Suddently I saw someone that looked familiar... it was Duplica, a long time online aquaintance of mine. We could finally meet! I also met other girls that I knew from the web and whatnot and it was really interesting and new for me. We chatted for a while and then the store opened.
We were lucky enough to get in before most people since we still had to get ready for the tea party and everyone else was already ready to go.
The patio was old looking but cozy. They had set a table with sweets and beverages and people would wait there for their turn to go up to the store and also to take photos.
I took a photo with the cute shop girl and Asuka. They were really nice although i found Maki to be more talkative.
Finally we got a spot inside the store! Me and Vania instantly picked what we wanted and the Angelic Pretty manager comented on how us foreigners know what we want haha. I took the line to reply to them and chat a bit. They were both extremely friendly, Maki and the manager(?). They were impressed with my super basic japanese skills which obviously amused me. I told them that it was a honor to meet them and we left.

We were already late!

What an adventure, it seems french people are very flirty xD if or when I ever travel to go to a tea party and/or browse some Lolita shops in a foreign country AND have a chance to meet the designers I'll be like a little kid, I get so excited over things like that!
And it must've been so amazing to meet internet friends in flesh, I can't imagine *_* and that patio <3 and they had a table with food that's so thoughtful!
I can't wait to read more about it :D

    Aria: Thank you for reading and especially for leaving a comment. I am posting on the btssb party next, stay tunned ^_^;

Sophie: Thank you. There was a horrible event too though, watch the next episodes ~XD

Diana: Vania was a bit excited like a kid too, i'm just totally not like that usually. I love the chance to meet these people and I do get excited, just not in the same way as other people I suppose. In the end we're all the same.
    Thank you for the comment!

Hyrule: haha thank you, i don't disagree anymore, i'll just thank you guys XD
Oh I bet that's not true, you are so young!

Eu a ler o texto pensava que tavas mesmo casual, afinal não lol at least for me :3
