home sweet home

As this is all new you probably do not know but i live in a rather old building and so 8and also due to my big love for antiques) I tend to decorate accordingly which does fit into the lolita aesthetic.
Unfortunately we still do not have a kitchen but I still adore buying kitchen wear and table wear.

One of my favorite places to shop for inexpensive house decoration items is A Loja do Gato Preto. They sell everything from kitchen wear, lamps, mirros, bed wear, furniture etc.

I went there the other day and I found the most perfect individual table cloths. Our usual table cloths are made of fabric or bamboo which turns out to be hard to clean but these new ones are not only incredibly lovely but also made of plastic. Easy to clean and pretty, perfection. I also got a plastic "lace" salad bowl.



We also seem to have a really hard time keeping our glasses in one piece since all our tall glasses have broken. Se we took the opportunity to get new ones. There was this deal, 6 glasses for 9 euros. I really love the ones we pick, even the color.



When i came back home I figured i'd wear something sweet lolita and icecream related for today's meetup in Porto and I picked a dress that I had at the shop and got damaged by one of the customers (when someone tried it on, one of the back lacing supports broke ;_;).


A pretty fun outfit.
