Ball Jointed Dolls

I already told a bit of the story of when I first fell in love with Bjds in a past post and I also posted the box opening of my first Sd girl, Aléxia (Peakswoods goldie). I have since acquired a second girl, also from peakswoods. Her name is Anne and she's a Briana mold.

I love them both very much but I think they are sort of similar which has gotten me wanting to get dolls that look different. I have decided to make a BJD doll wishlist because of that and, maybe, one day I might be lucky enough to own them all, yes even my impossible wishlist and first love doll, Luts Delf Miyu.

I hardly post photos of them here and I am sorry for that. I also should invest more often on clothes, wigs and eyes for them.
I find it really interesting how some people live this hobby, some girls in my local community before even getting a doll they make up a character and story for them and then build the look for the doll based on that story. Just like I do with lolita I basically get the dolls, find decently priced clothes from time to time and then that's what they wear. They also share clothes very often so no outfit belongs to only one doll.

I will try to get more dolls from this wishlist but its going to be hard since I have panic of ordering dolls from outside the eu due to customs. I have to find them second hand in europe and that's not very easy. That or manage to win over my fear of ordering a huge bjd from asia just like that. We shall see.

If you paid attention to the post, you might have noticed that one of the wishlist dolls had her name crossed (#2 Little Monica Ryuhwa)so it seems that she is going to be my first bjd buy for 2014!  I paid for her today and I could not be happier. I hope she arrives very soon and in good state since I got her second hand.
Isn't she beautiful? I'm getting closer to more realistic looking girls.
