Bargain shopping

Hello everyone,

So guess what? I'm finally on vacation, I have two weeks off work. I cannot do much that envolves money because otherwise I won't be able to take the trips I want to take this year but I have free time to get my house organized and for some personal projects as well.

One of them envolves dolls. I want to create a diy section in my house with a desk and maybe move my doll house there as well. My desk is now in mari's room which makes no sense so i'll just take the time to move it.

Anyway thinking of that I asked my friends if anyone wanted to go bargain shopping with me today and my friend kirarah decided to tag along.
We met at aprox 10 am at the local post office because I wanted to send a very important parcel. My doll tiny shop @ etsy just made its first sale!

Our destination was Feira da Vandoma which is a open air sort of marketplace for used everything. It's pretty dirty, smelly and most of the things for sale are either totally terrible or just over-priced but its a lot of fun and you will find something you like from time to time so its worth visiting.

I went looking only for doll-related items, especially furniture. I saw my dream BJD piece of furniture but they wanted 50 euros for it so obviously i didn't get it, but it was amazing!

Anyway this is what I got:

 A house with a kitchen and a bathroom from Mattel. Probably a barbie house. I don't really like plastic and fake looking furniture for blythes but i've been looking everywhere for a kicthen and it was affordable so I just got it anyway. My kid can play with it when she's older.

A bathroom set for my lps. It's also by Mattel, probably shelly's? Not sure. It's my least favorite buy of the day.

 

 This is a music box. It's not playing because the mechanism seems stuck but I loved it. It's a bit bit up and there are things missing (shelves and a drawer) but its very realistic looking. I can't wait to open it and fix it so i can know what song it plays.

 I am not sure about this one yet. I always wanted a piano too but I think this is a bit small for my blythe dolls. I'll still use it on a doll house and won't care about that much haha

I fell in love with this. It's a candelabra /painting/ decoration for the walls. I'm going to add it onto my living room. Not sure if i'll leave it black or paint it gold. It wasn't cheap but I couldn't help myself.
