End of dress up week.

Well before anything else i'd just like to say thank you to all who read this blog and take the time to comment. I really appreciate the time you spend on doing so. <3

Anyway my dress up lolita week is over, it ended this sunday so that means I have two more outfits. Now unfortunately the shots aren't nearly as clear as some others on here due to me taking them too late in the afternoon but I still hope you enjoy them.

#1 I was asked to put up a red based coordinate and that seems easy to some but to me it really isn't. I only own 1 dress that is mainly red so I had to, again, use it. I tried making it fresh by adding a blonde wig to the coordinate since i had not worn one the entire week and chose to go with my cheap blonde ebay wig that I have not used in ages! I like the result even though I often find blonde hair + black eyebrows a weird combo.

#2 This was taken at night almost so the photos are especially bad. Someone requested a shiro coordinate so I wore my only white dress. I went with something very simple because i just felt like doing so I suppose. I had made a headdress for my BJD that day so i took the oportunity to pose with her again. I love her so much, just wish she had more clothes like the one she's wearing.

Handmade head accessory, MmM dress, offbrand everything else (primark, handmade and claire's mostly).

So i'm sad the week is over because that also means that, at 8 months pregnant i'll be heading back to work very soon. Then my child will be born and who knows when i'll be wearing lolita regularly again.. so i'm quite... worried and sad about that at the moment.

Anyway me, my husband and my mom went to the beach the other day. As opposed to everyone who regularly goes to the beach in my country, i only go for 1 or 2 hours in the end of the day to get some sun (around 5, 6pm). Usually beach lovers go in the morning and just spend most of the day there.
I decided to take Kaneko, one of my Blythe dolls with me. The local blythe community has a banner contest going on and it has to do with beach, sun, summer so i decided to participate for the first time.

She made friends at the beach! She is a bit sad because she does not own a bathing suit and hence could not take a swim. 

Tomorrow i'm going on a small road trip with my mom, my younger brother and my husband. My brother is going to study in a different town so we need to go find him a room. I hope we can kill two birds with a stone and have fun anyway even though we're going there for a specific reason. I'll be sure to take some photos to share with you guys. Not everything has to be about lolita and dolls, right?
