Lolita Idols/Inspirational Lolitas

Hello everyone, So this thing on our local community made me think about this topic. I was never one to have Idols in anything, and when I do respect someone (that's my sort of lolita idol thing) I leave them alone as much as I can and try and be respectful and cordial. So I am not made for fandom in the typical sense.

If I had to pick an Idol it will always and forever be Sachi. I actually have to admit that I cried when I met her in person because I was so nervous to stand in front of her. It was ridiculous and very unlike me but I couldn't help it. It has never happened before.

Anyway I did have a foreign lolita "idol" of sorts once though, she was the first person I adored looking at in lolita and she was actually someone who i watched and tried learning from in the beginning. But after some time we grew apart and in the last years I stopped seeing her coords as inspirational to be honest. So that's my only trip down "having a lolita idol/inspiration".

After thinking about it here is a list of the people who's coords I admire. I tried only including the ones I still see posting outfits or being active in one way or the other. I also tried to keep the number really small too. This list does not have an order!

Tamulove

She used to wear only Moi-même-Moitié and I always admired the pretty clothes from her posts. I think in a way she made me want to wear it more and more. For that reason she's on this list. Also she is one of the few people from back then that i admired and are still around. She's a surviver.

Herajika

Do I need to say anything? This woman looks great in anything. She has the perfect body type for lolita and she has an amazing wardrobe. She's able to afford nearly everything and so I live that dream of just being able to buy brand dresses new like that whenever i feel like it, through people like her. She's also got really great taste, even in sweet lolita she always picks the nicest designs and colorways. I obviously like her classic lolita coordinates better because they look exactly like what I'd wear if i could fit and afford those pieces. She's just fabulous. I have not met a single lolita who does not see her as a sort of role model.

Shibahime

Another of my early fashion crushes and another surviver. She has a very unique taste and understands my love for metamorphose temps de fille. She always had very good advice to give me and i respect her a great deal both as a person as well as a lolita. She looks amazing all the time and I just feel sorry that she doesn't post coordinates very often anymore.

Lucythewhite

She had to be here. She's the only person other than myself in my country who devotes herself to lolita body and soul. She's one of the reasons why I still feel the urge to do something for our community and also my partner in outings. She is very important to me and I really admire how she, in such a short period of time, was able to get such an amazing wardrobe and look so great all the time! She also is able to keep outfits very clean and simple which is the opposite of what i usually do and that's very interesting to me. This is one of my favorite sweet lolita photos of all time, it just happens to he her.


I have many more people I love looking at and see as great dressers but i can't include everyone here. Most of the people who regularly comment on my blog are great lolitas and they'd be included here too if i didn't have to keep the list short.
As a community my favorite has always been the finnish, i just am sorry they don't post their epic meeting photos on egl anymore. I used to love it when they did.
