As some of you know I am currently in Japan, Nara ken. I came over to visit my husband's family and its going to serve as our honeymoon as well. I can't think of a better place to do so.
We left Portugal on the 18th December.
Travelling so far is always a drag. Don't get me wrong I like airplanes, its the bus trips I really dislike. Before being able to leave the country we have to ride a bus for 3 and a half hours towards the capital city, Lisbon. We managed to have time to do some duty free shopping, Port wine, chouriço, Portuguese cheese, some traditional sweets, ect. It's always the perfect thing to give to foreign famillies isn't it?
Then there's a short plane trip to some European main airport. This time it was Heathrow. I really dislike stopping by uk airports, they are a lot more strict when it comes to security and its absolutely caothic due to the amount of people passing through there.
We sat on the plane (and boy was it full!!) and it started snowing. Now I don't know it you watch/read the news or not but if you do you'll understand that we were very lucky for having chosen the 18th!
So we stayed inside the plane, sitting down for almost two hours before we could take off. There's never a lot to be done in an airplane but there are tons of movies to pick from. I watched two movies and slept a bit. I can never sleep a lot when travelling. My husband always falls asleep, he's one of the lucky ones!
We stayed at the airport for a bit deciding wether to get on the bus as previously arranged and beg for them to allow us to take our huge bags with us or spend 13000yen each on a shinkansen ticket. For some reason and for the first time (we're very cheap) we decided to go by shinkansen. By bus it would take 8 hours and we would have to sleep inside yet another bus (which for me is kinda bad because i get super tired and never sleep much) and by bullet train it takes around 2 hours and a half. That means we slept in a futon instead.
We took a train from Narita to tokyo (yes yes tokyo airport is not in tokyo which can be amusing to some) and then left our bags in some paid locker (5 euros a day for each) and headed over to Shinjuku.
On the way there I picked up a copy of the latest Gothic and Lolita bible and when we got there we had something to eat at a Standing sushi place. We went looking for Closet Child but i didn't have a map, the bibles mape was tiny and none of us could read the characters clearly so we were a bit lost. We later found out we were looking in the wrong side.
I went to Innocent World on my way there and overspent on a very cute bag. After that, and because it was on the way, we went to Maruione for a quick shopping visit. My purpose was to get some socks for my concert coordinate but nothing caught my eye at moitie. I ended up getting the divine cross golden matching socks like I wanted though so that was ok. Didn't have a lot of time to browse the stores but I saw some really super well dressed people (and boy moitie fans really only wear moitie almost! It's insane and they would probably kill me if they saw what i wear with moitie sometimes o.o) and one of those hot duded from the bible was shopping at Aatp which was amusing because this one japanese young girl recognized him and came to the shop with a very weird squeek sound or something of the sort. haha

Left Maruione, thinking that I need to return to re-check everything next time and finally went to my desired destination, Closet Child. I went there looking for stuff that my friends asked me to get but couldn't find most of them, it kinda saddened me. There's a ton of cool and old stuff at CC but I came here only to get gothic and classic items. I've decided to stay clear of sweet as much as I can.
The 3rd floor is totally my thing, all the gothic stuff is there. I found some really nice basic cardis, a coat and an sort of expensive (not really for moitie, but i'm not sure i should spend like that) but shirred moitie dress so I overspent like crazy. But I came smiling like an idiot on the way back.

After that we got back, got the bags, got into the shinkansen and just chilled while heading home, super tired but happy to be home. When we got to Osaka station, my father in law was outside waiting for us. It was funny because my husband was wondering where he was and I found him in 5 seconds, meaning i recognized him right away and he didn't hehe. The car was all painted fresh and they got a GPS so we talked a bit about that and random stuff and then got home.
His mom is kinda weak and if she gets sick she can't have the surgery she's going to have this month and i'm still with a flu so I have to wear a mask and clean my hands very carefully all the time. We ate a snack, took a bath and got to bed. Slept like a baby.
Even if it is tiresome, I think it's quite enjoyable to travel. Bring me a card or somethin' :P

Bijus pa ti, pró teu pikeno e as melhoras da sogrinha!
Heartless: I am one of those people who loves to travel but due to my bad memory I always end up forgetting about most things so I'm trying hard to write about every single day so I can read about it later. I think that's why i prefer to buy things instead of spend in experiences all the time. I can look at things every day but I forget experiences in a day.

Jo
