"Stephanie" Sunday

Today the country is on alert due to a storm we named Stephanie and so obviously I decided to stay in. I say obviously but I just watched the news and they were showing people actually taking strolls near the shore... with babies, dogs, jogging, etc. I think this is ridiculous to be honest, when someone tells me to not go to a certain place because there is a storm, i won't go. There might be no problem in doing so in reality but its the idea behind the action that bothers me, and its something I hope my daughter will not copy.

Anyway, I took the day to clean mold. I have mold at home, it has completely ruined the back of my ikea shelves in my living room and covered the stone near the windows and also another pices of furniture. It smells like mold when we go in the living room too. I cleaned so much mold I still feel the mold in my throat and its a horrible feeling.

Unfortunately i could not take everything out and the shelves are now ruined. I wonder what it looks like the other side, i didn't have enough strength to take them out of their place to check the back.

After that I had scheduled to meet online with my facebook friends and so got dressed. I felt like wearing something lighter today and this is what I ended up putting on. I never really know what I'll be wearing, i'm just like this, this is how i have fun with lolita.

 The hair accessories are a mix of offbrand pieces, the necklace and socks are metamorphose, the op is Atelier Pierrot, the shoes are queen bee, the bolero is IW and the wig is cyperous.
The online thing was a bit less long this time because Mari was not sleeping and needed my attention but it was still amazing to talk to the few who decided to join me. Again a big thanks to Azu, Meow, Pam for the company!

My husband arrived and my brother decided to come visit (my brother smelled horribly of smoke and I got even more confident that I will not become a regular smoker sometime soon. I hate that smell ;_; he was sad when i told him that he smelled like that but i'm honest. :P

My husband brought some food from his lunch today which was nice and I just made dinner for my brother as well. Mari is now sleeping and we are just spending some time in familly in the sofa, seems perfect if it wasn't for the fact that everyone has to go back to work tomorrow and also for the mold in my throat.

I am about to post this and then i'm going to watch another episode of reign. I started watching it after someone in the bjd community told me about it. The reason I started watching it is that the other two series I follow have finished and I'm not sure when the next seasons will be made. I hate that, wish they would just continue the series until they ended and that'd be it. I don't like the wait.

I'm back!

Hello everyone,

I am sorry for the absense. The reason why I have not posted recently is because I've been so busy at work. I honestly am not sure if i'll keep on having time to post anymore but i'll do my best to keep up.

Taking so long to post basically means all the details of the stories will be gone. I do not remember most of the things that happenes, I am like that.

What are you wearing?

Hello everyone,

So basically this is a what have you been up to, post.

I guess we can start with what my wednesdays are like. I enrolled in this preparation course for mommies. We are basically trying to learn how to take care of a baby but more importantly how to prepare for the delivery. It's scary but interesting and sometimes really funny too.
Every week i go someone is leaving to have their baby so the class is always changing too. The speaker is a nurse so we also get to discuss our doubts etc. If you decide to have a child i highly recommend that you take these classes.

Last friday my brothers finally returned from their summer vacation. We've been wanting to take my older brother out for lunch at our local favorite japanese restaurant but because he works on week days we haven't been able to. So we took this chance and used his last free days to go.

This is my older brother, he is a very nice person and we love having him around.

The starter was a meat dish, it tasted great.

And ebi tempura as an extra.

 We also had sashimi, ice cream and of course coffee. It was all fantastic as usual.

Saturday we had a small gathering scheduled. It was in Vânia's house and the theme was classic diy. That obviously means we were supposed to wear something in that line as well as make an acessory of some sort.
Vânia baked cookies, very delicious cookies and we had fun.

This is what I wore: Btssb & mmm headbows, mmm shirt, btssb dress and sandals, iw bag and Jane marple socks.

This is the accessory i made during the meetup. 

Sunday we had another meetup scheduled. It was our community's first online meeting inspired by Iiralina's idea of course. It ended up being a lot of fun and obviously people were required to try and wear lolita for the occasion so I did just that.

Monday (today) I had some plans: do laundry, continue cleaning the first floor, going to the post office and taking shots of things i need to sell but i ended up playing dress up instead and then resting because i was feeling ery tired and kind of nauseous. None of these are too fancy, i just wanted to have fun. <3 It's been a while since i felt like doing that.

I wanted to take a shot with my Bjd one day and here it is, isn't she huge but fabulous? I love her.

The second outfit was a casual classic look, very pink, no wig.

Long time no see Jez!

Hello again,

On the 22nd of April an Egl Portugal lolita who recently moved to the UK came to visit. Obviously since we all miss her dearly we had to arrange for a small gathering in her honor.

We went to our local favorite spot for tea and delicious goods because she requested for it. After that we just went for a walk, took some photos and ended it all with a yummy pizza at the local pizzaria.

 These two shots have the lovely São Francisco church in the background. I'm taking this oportunity to show you some of the lovely scenery in my city. I live around 5min walking distance from there.
Come visit and you can stay at my place and i'll show you around. <3

 In the background you can see Ribeira de Vila Nova de Gaia. It's the nearby city, Porto and Gaia are separated by the Douro River. I was born in Porto, lived in Gaia with my parents until I moved to Porto with my fiancée (now husband) some time ago. So basically I have always lived here and I still think it is beautiful. I have traveled a bit (not a lot) but I still think so. It is definitely worth visiting.

 And here's the group. The girl I'm hugging is Jezebel, she's a darling. We all miss her but are glad she's doing ok.

 This is also another place to visit. It's one of the most beautiful train stations in the world, São Bento train station. I changed shoes for confort and got a coat, it was kinda chilly.

 And this is the pizzaria S.Martino pizzaria we always go to. They serve really huge pizza portions and everyone always ends up having to take pizza home. They also have a couple's pizza, they make them heart shaped! The girls love that. <3
